Rockwell Collins VR Trip

On Febuary 27th my Emerging Technology class took a trip to Rockwell Collins to test drive their Virtual Reality equipment. I personally didn't try it because of my epilepsy but it was really cool to watch. They can make virtual models of products they are making and assemble them in Virtual Reality to see if it works or not before they produce it. I believe this technology is going to be utilized by everything. Medical Surgeons can be trained using VR, and right now it's how Pilots are trained to fly.

My Digital Footprint

Before Emerging Tech actually started we had the chance to find our digital footprint. We searched our names and I found the following on me: My Facebook; My Myspace; and a lot of various forums I belonged to. Now after spending some time in Emerging Technology I have learned how to take a screenshot of what I now find when I search myself.



As you can see I found a lot more than just my Myspace. I now find my Emerging Technology Blog and Website. I can see the Google Calender Certification that I created. I can also some photos that I have been tagged in Google+.
